MOVE U COURSES CURRENTLY AVAILABLE:

MOVER: This course covers the basics of moving household and office goods.  Movers are instructed on proper equipment use and how to prepare and protect a residence and furnishings prior to and during a move.  Participants are educated on the importance of customer service and professionalism.

LOADER: This is a comprehensive classroom training that continues where the mover class leaves off.  Loaders are instructed on the nine critical points to identify during the walk-through and the twelve concepts of proper loading.  These steps help reduce personal injury and damage claims while demonstrating how to maximize usable space within the truck. Prerequisite:  Mover

SAFETY: This course covers in depth training on safety procedures and is designed to show participants how to establish and maintain a company safety program.  Highlights include how to plan, prepare for and reduce the frequency and severity of potential hazards in the workplace.

FUTURE TRAINING CLASSES:

PACKER: This course will cover the techniques used by professional packers to reduce the risk of damage to breakable items.  Participants will receive hands on instruction with various types of packing materials.

DRIVER: This course is designed to instruct drivers on safety issues from an insurance company's perspective. 

SUPERVISOR: Participants are shown how to manage a crew in this classroom program.  Included are policies and procedures, report writing and leadership.

NEW EMPLOYEE TRAINING: This classroom training program is designed to turn new employees into optimum contributors. Emphasis is on proficiency and productivity with less injury and damage claims.

IN HOUSE MOVERS: This is a two day training program which focuses on Safety and Procedure training for In House Moving programs. Ideal for Universities and large corporations.

ACCIDENT PREVENTION PLAN: This course helps to identify potential hazards and risk in the workplace. Participants will learn how to create a response procedure and how to put it into place.

TRAIN THE TRAINER:  This course is designed for a key employee, within your company, to learn the "in's and out's" of the moving industry.  Upon successful completion they can return and "train" your movers and loaders at your site.
